Foundations of Theater
8 through 12 years old
This class is a great introduction to the world of drama. Through hands on classroom activities, students will learn to express themselves in a community. We have formulated a curriculum to explore the fundamentals of drama through group activities and character study. This course sets a foundation of theater fundamentals, including the basics of auditioning, staging, and more! We understand that not every student wants to be an actor, but our class offers so much more than just acting skills. We teach the importance of subconscious thoughts, encourage creativity and risk-taking, and provide a fun and engaging learning environment that your child will love. No experience is necessary to join this class, and your child can take it alongside other acting classes to hone their skills even further. At the end of the semester, all students will have the opportunity to perform at our Showcase Performance.
Class Schedule
Mondays
2:00pm to 3:00pm
This class runs for a 12-week semester in the fall, with the option to re-enroll in the spring. Class time is 60 minutes, and cost is $90/Month.
