Do you have a teen interested in singing, and you’d like to get them to the next level?

Vivace’ Select Choir is a group of teens ages 13-18 that performs at various events around Omaha, including the Durham Museum, and sing the National Anthem! Our goal in this group is to take students who have a basic understanding of singing, and teach them blending, complex harmonization, proper vocal technic, and give them a chance to record and perform professionally.

If your teen has experience singing in choir, and has an ear for harmonies, we’d love to invite them to try out for our select choir.

We’ll be having open auditions on Saturday, July 16th from 1-3pm for anyone wanting to join our group. Please have your student bring a piece to perform for us, and be ready to sing. They’ll check-in at our welcome table, and then wait in our waiting area to be called onto the stage. Once called up, they’ll perform a private audition with our judges panel. Please have your teen ready to sing “Mary Had A Little Lamb” with harmonization from one of our judges.

Results will be announced the week following our auditions.

Auditions are open to anyone interested! The only requirement is that you’ve either participated in a choir (please bring a reference if the choir is unrelated to MKS Studio), or have been involved in singing publicly in some form, either in a church setting or private vocal lessons.
